Front press, front squat (3 reps) & Jerk (1 rep), jerk from racks, front squat, sit ups, axle press.
good workout, though tired from a late night (working) last night.

Saturday 20th October
Snatch, clean and jerk, deadlift, deadlift from the racks, calf raise, tyreflip, atlas stones to the shoulder, farmers walk hold.
My eldest who is just 13 lifted his 40kg atlas stone to the platform for the first time, fantastic.

Saturday 20th October Snatch, clean and jerk, deadlift, deadlift from the racks, calf raise, tyreflip, atlas stones to the shoulder, farmers walk hold. My eldest who is just 13 lifted his 40kg atlas stone to the platform for the first time, fantastic. nothing like having your kid in the gym.

I train all three of mine, my two eldest have been British youth championships, my youngest (9) is about to do his seond comp (in December).
I love having them there and they seem to enjoy it, it gives discipline but a sense of acheivement when they do well or set records as they now are. I'm also VERY anti drugs and this is hopefully already instilled in them.
trained today, Thursday 25th October
Front press, front squat and jerk, jerk from racks, front squat, sit up side bends, axle (2" bar) jerk and push press.

I like that you are telling them about staying away from drugs. I have seen drugs ruin many people.

Saturday 27th October 2007 Snatch, clean and jerk, deadlift, deadlift racks, calf raise, farmers hold, stones. My lad did his stone again, pictures on my web site, and I mssed when dropping the stone, clip on you tube uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_AN9J9oHgwISorry, I didn't know how to rotate it!

Saturday 3rd November
Split snatch, clean and jerk, deadlift, deadlift racks, calf raise, farmers hold, stones to the shoulder.
Snatch felt heavy but rest went OK, 95kg (209lb) stone to the shoulder, no tacky, I might go for the 100kg stone next week, thats body weight.

good session quite please with everything except the chins, not that I've been very good at them anyway.

3 weeks until the divisionals.
