Thank you brothers .Im really hoping the squat will help my bench .I need to start doing more band work in my bench as well .So Ill still work my shirt every week but Ill be puting band work and brds first then finish off with shirt work .GOD bless ..Jason

raw barx alot 135x3 175x3 225x3 275x3
Shirt on 315x3 everything touched today 365x3 405x1 425x1 445x1
Shirt off 135plus choked minis 235 at top x8 155plusm mini 255 at top x 8 165plus mini 265 at top x5x2
That was it .445 went up good.My training partner left early (was going out of town ) So I just finished with some band work .

How often do you do bandwork Jason?
I do a lot of stuff but have never experimented with bands.
I plan on getting knowledgeable about them soon.

I have not done them in about 3 months but Im starting to hit a wall in training and need to get over 500 in bench so I need to bring them back in (the bands) For 3- 6 weeks . Bands are unbelivable for explosive strength . My problem has been Im really slow once I press (in my shirt) after I touch weight .Once it get off my stomach about 2-3 inches then I can lock anything out .Its just getting the bar moving is where Im having troulble again . I would just order a set of light bands a go from there . They will greatly improve your bench .The only thing I have found is you cant use them for more than a few weeks at a time because you will end up really soar in your joints and stuff .GOD BLESS .......Jason

I think you are on to something with the speed work and the bands. I have a friend that is a 275 class raw 550 bencher. He does both band and speed work. I am going to learn about bands from him so I dont kill myself or blow out a joint and go from there.

Deads 135x5 225x5 315x1 this was easy and could have hit more reps but I had to get out of there .

Back to basics bench . 5/10/7 THANK YOU MY KING JESUS FOR ANOTHER GREAT DAY OF LIFTING
I have been having a real problem touching lately so Today I backed down in weight and work on form ,and Im glad I did it went pretty good today .
My problem has been I bring my elbows in so much I cant get them back out and its been killing the bottom part of the lift .
So today I worked on wearing the shirt looser and keeping the elbows out as if I was trying to rip apart the chest plate .
The first few sets of 405 where awsome and explosvie but I was now about a 1/2 inch from touching .
So at the very bottom on the last sets I just rolled my wrist back and it took care of that problem and it was stong of the stomach .
Now if I can just keep the same form when the weight gets heavy 500 wont be so hard .Its been hard getting my elbows back out when the weight gets heavy so Im basicly retraining myself to be better at hitting perfect grooves Pinky on ring Raw bar xalot 135x5 225x5 275x3
3brd pinky on ring raw 275x3 315x3 365x3
4 brd 315x3 365x3
5 brd 365x3 405x3x2
Shirt on 315x3 365x3 405x3x3 Very explosive stayed there because I just really need to feel how to hit perfect grooves .Ill go heaver in the next few weeks but I feel that I should really continue hitting lighter weight for triples for at least another week or two then Ill work in some bigger stuff once I get this shirt down .Jason

Monday Squat work I got my wraps last week and used them tonight and They helped alot .
135x5 225x5 315x5 405x5 ADDED BELT AND WRAPS 425x1 445x1 475x1 PR PRAISE JESUS MY KING 225X15X2
That was it I had to get home the workout lasted 1 1/2 hrs

I noticed that when I do max effort work with bands, even with my shirt on, I get really sore. Always have to be careful not to overtrain with them.
