I tell you, our God has a funny since of humor.
Michelle is going to kill me for posting this. We went the other night to Barnes and Nobles to look around. We were at Shane and Trish's the other night and somehow The Davinci Code was brought up. It triggered some curiosity in my wife. She knows it is a fabrication, but it still is curious to her. Especially since almost every time you turned on the TV, there was something on it awhile back.
I told her not to buy that trash and gave her a hard time. There are a lot of books I'd like to read, but I feel until I get the whole Bible covered, I need to focus on it. Actually, always focus on it. Needless to say, she purchased it. She reads all the time.
That night when we went to bed, she asked if it was alright to read. I said, "yeah, as long as it is the Bible." She laughed and told me it was her new book. I said I thought Christ would be mad.....picking on her..teasing.
She picked the book up, turned to the first page....picked up her book light and it wouldn't come on. I started dying laughing. She couldn't help but laugh herself. I told her she has already upset the Lord and it wouldn't work again. Sure enough, the battery was fully charged...something happened to the book light! LOL
On a side note, I noticed books on the finding of John the Baptist cave and other historical digs. Are there any you recommend and trust? I dig history books and finds of that nature.
God Bless, Mike
