Dear Fran,
This is Frank's wife, Diana, Hi! Frank has been in the hospital since Friday, March 27. His melanoma has spread so much that we won't be doing chemo. His days may be numbered, and the kids from Iowa, Katharina and Martin, will be coming home Monday afternoon. Regina came home tonight. It's sad but on the other hand we rejoice that Frank will see his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ soon. that is his and our only comfort. And we will see each other again in heaven.
So maybe if you could let the benchpress community know how it stands with Frank, I would appreciate it.
If you go to New Zealand, good luck, and may God give you traveling mercies!

Frank is probably the strongest 50+ bencher ever, having benched 540 raw in IPF conditions. His kids have probably grown up believing that Dad was the strongest man in the world. I'm so glad that Jesus can use Frank even now to proclaim His glory.
As I prepare for New Zealand, I know I'm the guy in Frank's spot and I'll be a tower of ambivalence.
