Guys, I know this is not really a powerlifting workout, but have any ever used these in their training history. I've been delving into the archives and found Paul Anderson, Peary Rader and others swore by them in the old days. Squats & Milk for getting big was the basic concept.

20 reppers have been used for decades to build mass and strength. They're great for developing squat strength, and they're one of the quickest ways to add mass to your quads IMO.
A 20 repper to failure or near failure is an absolutely BRUTAL set, I'd say one of the hardest things you'll ever do in the gym. A true 1RM is hard, but it's over in 5-10 seconds.
