Hi There CPOa members. first of all I want to thank you Buffman for letting me know there were different Organizations in Power Lifting. . I did not know back at The Time when I read about Gene and Scott that there was loose structures and stricter rules. I take your word from Experience Buffman that the IPF is a more structured standard of true Lifting of Drug Free. however if anyone enters these and uses drugs and does not get caught. i don't really care. . it is in The hands of GOD who will take things into matter..
today is my third week back to working out. my first 2 weeks was to loosen up and break myself in. Now I am starting to fit in more exercises. Today i just started my Dead lifts. I did 85 pounds at 4 sets for my first day. . OK so it may not be much. and i may have not made anyone flinch an eye. But that is a good start for me.
Right now i weight at 290 plus pounds at five foot nine. . .
I had been too sedentary and eating mass loads of Carbs and food in General. I forget when i don't workout to not cut back my eating.
so now I am attacking The fat as well as gaining strength.
By The way I live in Illinois. Does anyone know when the next Bench meet is in this state or any state Near by that I can get into?
I would appreciate if anyone can let me know
