Well, since the back has been bad for awhile....I decided to join a church basketball league. Will be playing two nights a week, hope to get in better cardio shape. I do not plan on lifting heavy for awhile, try working on running in to shape. I will still do the basic powerlifting moves, but not heavy. Still haven't joined another gym yet. I forgot how much I enjoyed playing basketball until the other night! What is crazy, I was playing guard at 6"2 and 300 plus pounds. I think our team averages about 6"4 and 280. Our age is also about 45 ;D

That sounds like fun Mike. I like basketball but I am probably the worst player ever...it probably doesn't help that I'm 5'6" and uncoordinated. I'm taking time off too for a while...training for bodybuilding to build some mass and endurance. The workouts have been brutal but I think it will pay off (maybe) or at least give me a break from lifting heavy all the time. Have a good one! William

Haven't lifted weights in three weeks. Realized how much more time I have on my hands (if I wouldn't be working 60 hours a week).
My knees and ankles have been taking a pounding playing basketball. I am going to need to be careful, have had a little fluid on the knees.
Maybe powerlifting was easier...LOL
