I use to have the Coan/Phillipi workout somewhere. Do you have a site for it or could you post? I may try it for a push pull meet coming up. Eddie, is this the same workout program? www.powerpage.net/coanphildead.htmlThank you and God Bless, Mike

O.k....another question
When you were wearing equipment, did you do all the heavy sets with equipment? Then take off for the speed sets?
Here is my situation. I have pulled 650 in a contest with a single ply squat suit. The last two meets I missed 655 at the very top, for plaining. I would like to move upto 675 plus. Would you put in your raw max number or your equipped numbers, also would you wear equipment for the heavy sets?
God Bless, Mike

God Bless, Mike I would use my raw numbers and throw the suit on for the last few weeks. (weeks 8-10). This is only b/c u said u have a meet coming up. If you have the time do the whole cycle raw and then do a progressive overload set up for a few weeks (3-4 weeks) in the gear before the meet. When is the meet?

I have plenty of time. It is the push-pull nationals aau. It is here in n.c. It is the last week of August. I am thinking I have about 14 weeks. I am nursing a back injury right now, so I need to take a couple of weeks easy before starting the program. I am just afraid that the hard program could cause the injury to reactivate.
God Bless, Mike

God Bless, Mike What's is the injury. Usually nagging injuries can be fixed by going light for a little while and some rehab work (or prehab if its not REALLY injured). If you keep your ab strength up and keep your lower back from tightening up you should be OK. Also try and find a good chiropractor and A.R.T. specialist if you can. Eddie
