I dont know whats been going on with me lately...but I have been struggling in my walk...just not feeling close to the Lord. I always read the Word daily, and havent even been doing that. I guess it is the typical distance feeling that a lot of Christians get...I could really use some prayer to get back on fire for God.
Thanks and God Bless...

Sure thing Ernie. This can happen to all of us every now and then.

Read James 1:2. To me, that's a great Scripture for the tough times! Another good one for me is Psalms 86:2. That's the first Scripture I ever read where I felt like God was actually talking to me through His Word.
I will definitely pray for you brother!
God BLess.

I certainly will Ernie. Don't get discouraged, you are reading God's word and asking for fellow believers to pray for you, so it is obvious you are seeking. If we earnestly seek a deeper relationship with God, he will provide, that is something you can be 100% sure of. It's possible too that you are about to enter into a time of spiritual growth and the devil knows this and is trying to confuse you. Stay strong and stay faithful.
May the Lord bless and keep you! William

I've kept you in my prayers and I would like to echo Dougs suggestion. James is such a great book...I was doing my devotion Saturday and I read from James and I had you in mind when I was reading it. I suggest the whole book (it's very short) or at least the first chapter. It's a small book but it is an incredible book to study.
God Bless, William
