Hi,
We are extremely excited in our house as my #2 son Ward is out of Iraq and in Kuwait. God willing, the Army plans to have him home by the 21st so we get him for Christmas. He is safe and whole and we thank God for all of this good news.
God is good and provides for all of our needs, all the time inspite of ourselves. My division at work was closed 10/26. I haven't found new employment yet. We had expended all of our reserves earlier helping Lisa's mom with medical needs etc. Though we do suffer from human based concern, we know God is in control and our needs are already handled. My fear is that in my excitement to do the "right" thing that I mimic the guy in the flood and decline the boat and the helicopter while "waiting on God".
There is an opportunity in 2 different ways that I would love to have happen. A company I was associated with has been working on funding to go national. They have a proven product, sytem that is growing like crazy on a local level but funding has been delayed a few times. As they get their funding I have been assured one of a couple of spots in the expansion. I love the product and the people and it is local. I do not want to get too high on this as God may have other plans. Things could happen as soon as Wednesday this week.
Soooo the request patience and wisdom for God's will and the ability to recognize and step through the correct door as it opens. For God's continued blessing and provision and the wisdom to know how and what to pare down in our life as he does His work.
Lisa's Mom suffers from so health issues and some early dementia. She has sold her place and is moving here to UT to an apt near us. I will be going down Thuirs to help her get somethings ready for the move. LOL lots goin on with us. I am grateful God is in charge.
Health is good. I had the 4th procedure to rebuild my rt thumb/wrist on 6/3 (this was from degeneration from a very old injury) and on 11/1 I had a scope on my rt knee for meniscus repair. Thankfully my old boss paid for an extra month of insurance so I could get this done, God is Good!
Everything is healing fine but training is nothing like before and goals and methods have to all be rethought. Doc says no more parallel squatting or full depth pulling. Meniscus is just toooo soft and compromised from a very active youth. Hope to start training bench again heavy after 4/01/06 when tendons are finished knitting.
Had a great time last night at a USPF push pull meet as a lift off specialist....
God is Great and does provide all of the time. Please remember our family during this transition time.
Thanks in advance!
