January 18, 1988. It was a glorious day! My Dad drove 2 hours to see me get baptized at the age of 19, and that was special. But, literally, there's a feeling that comes over you when you come up out of that water that is indescribable. It's joy, submission, opening, relieving, happy, all at once. I may have the exact date wrong, the certificate got lost in the flood back in 99, but I definitely remember the experience!

Dont remember the date exactly, but I do remember on my water baptism I came out of the water with my fists in the air yelling like I just lifted a 400lb stone!!!

I was 20 years old and my dad baptized me (he is a preacher). That made it very special for me.

I was in first grade. The baptistry usually has warmed water in it. It was broken and the water was very cold. When I went under I almost inhaled in cold water. I will never forget it.
