Had things to do prior to lifting but went anyway and got a quick workout in.
raw squats: Warmups: 135 x 10 / 225 x 5 / 315 x 5 / work sets: 385 x 5 / 405 x 5 / 405 x 5
I lightened my squats up a bit due to my old joints screaming at me.
Since I lightened them up I went slower and deeper and still got a good workout out of it.
seated calves (machine): 4 45 lb plates x 20 5 plates x 20 6 plates x 20
I talked a bunch to my buddy the trainer. He has been a blessing to me. He is interested in powerlifting and has become a pretty good hand off man.
Went home....ate dinner.....ate some more......took a hot bath.....ate some moosetracks and crashed.

Tom, those squats look really good! I still haven't been able to get back into the flow of things.....last time I squatted, I did 275x5x5 and it about killed me. Have you always squatted to stay in shape?
