For the first time since I did my first deadlift in 1987, I had nearly perfect text-book form on deadlift today at over 300 pounds [315 be be exact]! I had scheduled myself to do 335 for the workout yesterday, but was sick and postponed the workout until today. As I was getting ready, the number 315 came into my mind and I change the workout. I was able to get 5 straight with perfect form and 7 total. The Lord is so good!

Amen to what Gonzo said! Bryan, with the way your back was just a short time ago, that is certainly something to give thanks and praise for! I appreciate you sharing that.
When I read posts like that, I just get all excited, can't help myself! Thank you!
God Bless.

Thanks for all the words of encouragment. The Lord allowed me to pull 335# this past week for four reps straight and 6 total - all with near perfect form. Even my daughter was impressed.

Sounds like a great improvement Bryan! That is something I love about Strongman, like Dione says, "who cares about the form, just get the bar up there!"

Sounds like a great improvement Bryan! That is something I love about Strongman, like Dione says, "who cares about the form, just get the bar up there!" True. I would have agreed completely with that at the beginning of the summer of 2006. After spending weeks in rehab, I now have a different perspective and don't want to ever damage my spinal column again. Due to this, I was blessed by God with the strength to pull 355 today for 4 reps straight and 6 total! PTL!
