Joined the gym actually last week. Michelle and I will be working on basic weightlifting and cardio for awhile. She wants to lose about 100 Lbs, I would like to lose 75LBS. Not really worried about strength right now.
Praise His Holy Name!
bench warmed up to 225 225x5 225x10
tricep p/d
lat p/d
side laterial shoulders
abs
25 minutes on treadmill
One thing I noticed last week. I haven't squatted in sometime, thinking it was hurting my back. I hurt more in my back last week and today, after benching? Any thoughts?
Praise God, Mike

It's good to hear your lifting again. I'll be focusing on losing some b/f this year also. As far as your back -- you need to finish up on seeing the chiropractor, Bro.
Where O where are lifting now my friend??? I searched the world over and thought I'd found a liftin' partner -- you met another and ppppllllttttt!!!!!! You were gone. LOL.

When I still trained for powerlifting, my back always got sore after a good bench day. Both upper and lower. The upper was from the benching and the lower from the arching.

I thought it may be from arching, but I was intentionally doing them flat back. Maybe all this back problem is coming from benching (from the beginning). Kinda weird how when I didn't workout for two months, it didn't bother me.

The only benching I do anymore is speed benching on Mondays. Everyonce in a while Ill do some dumbbell pressing and some incline pressing, but lately any kind of benching is killing my right shoulder. Strangely overhead pressing doesnt bother it as much, but snatches kill it!
