I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I charged $65 for an individual entry fee and did no drug testing. That is highway robbery by any standard. And this is coming from someone who has to drive 1,100 miles to do the meet. When we come back we'll have some of the largest and most outstanding trophies anyone has seen in the sport. 3', 4' and 5' 3 and 4 column Trophies, All Kinds of sculptures, thousands of dollars worth of Inzer and Titan equipment for door prizes and raffles. All of this along with the opportunity to break NASA American Records and possibly World Records and the chance to become a NASA Pro Power Sports lifter. And on top of this, the chance to be on one of NASA's top teams and be nominated and win some of NASA's Athlete of the Year Awards.
Then the topper is that we will be drug testing so you can be assured you'll actually be competing with real, drug free lifters. Spread the Word!!! NASA is about to return, with Bells On!

Bryan, evidently Rich is upset with IBP in N.C. These references to $65 dollar entry fees and past comments are direct attacks on IBP. I do the trophies, help judge in IBP and have helped many times in drug testing. My wife is a registered nurse and has helped as well. I really hate that it has come to this and they feel threatened. I guarantee you there is drug testing going on! I hate that you are being pulled into these false claims. I am going to end it at that. I have left Nasa as a link on here since day one and you have posted their contest. I will not allow slandering of the "trophies" or drug testing, because I KNOW what is going on. I wish Nasa the best of luck and they continue to prosper. Most people get tired of eating at the same place, venture out and try it all.
God Bless, Mike

I didn't post this to stir up anything. I didn't know this was a slam on any other fed. I did this so other lifters in NC may be interested in competing in a NASA meet. That is it. Sorry about any trouble.

Bryan, there is no hard feelilngs. I just thought you didn't understand the "underneath" motive for such post. I have seen them many times on that board. You can continue to post their meets, it doesn't hurt my feelings. I will just not sit back and promote someone else, if they are going to trash myself or slander what I am part of. If I didn't know for a fact these accusations are so incredible false, then it wouldn't bother me. Nasa was once one of the top two organizations in N.C. They chose to move on, I hope they bring a big draw to N.C. Competition is good. If you are bringing your best, your competition must get better!
God Bless, Mike

I don't know what happened in the past between IBP and NASA. Don't want to know. I am not part of the problem or the solution, so it would only be gossip. I personally hope NASA goes there and the lifters benefit from it. You are right - competition will make both groups better.
