sc state meet
weighed in 225 lbs (missed my weight and I knew that was gonna happen)
opener 485- benched it (reds) picked head up 485 again (whites) benched it clean 520- benched it easy- (reds) had a dip on the right side and also think my butt came up just a little. Easy lift and was a confidence builder.

Good Job Tom! It's a good feeling to solidly get a strong lift like that in! And as long as you know you could have had the 520, that should give you confidence in future meets!

Good job. Was this raw or shirt? Either way, impressive.

I wish it was raw. That would be a good bench!
It was single ply shirt.

That's a good single ply lift Tom...don't discredit yourself!

Was the meet at the Brickhouse Gym again? I always thought that would be a great gym to train at...it has everything.

Yes william. That was the gym. Dan Austin put that one on. He is one of the strength coaches at univ. south carolina. He had offensive linemen spotting for us. Nice guy and enjoyable meet.
They said that the brickhouse is moving to a larger facility so next year will be even better.
I kind of like that gym too. Old style feeling isnt it?

Great work, Tom. You trained hard and did your business. That's all that matters.
