What is the one thing on our body that can get us in so much trouble wherever we go? The answer is “The Ears’. We are designed of Hearing to record sounds to our brain. These sounds and words play over and over in our head just the way we had heard them. Yet listening can also be helpful as it can also be a deterrent in our Faith even to walk away from salvation. Seeing with our eyes is not enough. Jesus in Matthew 4 Goes to see the people who are sitting in darkness. And they “Saw a great Light’
Yes with their eyes they had seen him. They saw him but so what? What is seeing Jesus going to do or benefit us? What do we know of Jesus if we see a picture of Him in a portrait? What is the explanation Jesus being on the cross? Will our eyes tell us the whole story?
Not so. If people can only see Jesus with no sound of him then what's so great can we hear about all what Jesus did for us. .We could see him perform Miracles but why? See now it is your ears to capture the message. But your ears actually is listening from your heart and your Heart is listening from the center of your thoughts. .
Jesus told us He that listens to my words is like a man who built his house upon the rock. But He that does not listen to my words is like one who built their house on sand. And when the wind comes the house will be knocked over. . you see that? That is the difference from listening to God or refusing to listen to God. Do you hear this message? Did you let your ears comprehend these things?. This is about our Salvation.
To obtain salvation one needs to hear the message of Salvation. For the one who has not heard the message of the gospel that person will not have a desire to be saved. For that person never heard of Salvation. . but the message must reach us first to hear with our Ears before we can speak this into the ears of other people.
Romans 10:14 NKJV

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
Yes this is a gospel that depends on listening. . .
But on the contrary other voices, or sounds may tell us to believe other wise. The Serpent said to Eve as she listened. Did God indeed tell you not to eat from the Tree of knowledge? She exclaimed sure so this is what God said to us. The Serpent said surely you will not die.. Take of the tree of knowledge. For you will gain wisdom as God knowing good and Evil. . Adam told her that God said No we can't eat from the tree. The Serpent says to her ears but yes Eve you can and it will be ok. . .
We need to protect our Ears. We need to keep listening to the word of God for instruction. Listen to the message. Meditate upon it. Practice this in your life. Do not believe the other messages you hear that disagree with God in any circumstance of rebellion. For it was by listening that you made the decision to do right or wrong.. Your ear is a pathway to be taught of your own destruction. . Or a message of your own salvation. If your ear turns away from God your ear has chosen rebellion. . The wise person gives their ears over to God to what messages our ears are to know. .
Whether you are a believer or you have not known God before. Say to God’ Oh God, please let me hear you. And let me hear you before I hear anyone or anything. Let my ears be content to hear your word and build up my Spirit . Bring hope to me dear God. Lord let the Noise of the world not to distract my Faith in You. Let me not become Deaf to shut you to my life. Let my Ears always be ready for you and I will listen with all my heart . Don't let me believe False religions. Lead me Lord to help me to hear the truth that will lead me to the Cross to where Jesus died for my sins. Let me hear Salvation. Let me answer I want to have Eternal Life. Lord I Pray you have heard my words.

For I and no other teacher can offer you these promises. All we can do is share the one Lord who does offer these promises. . If you don't believe in what it tells you then believe in what God tells you. I or no other teacher is the first to listen to. .
