Ok I must admit and be honest I am not in the best shape currently. But then again I have not had anyone around me for encouragement. Nor even enough income to get a Fitness Club membership.
However I do have a history of working out and eating within more of my weight range. It has been 2 to 3 years since I have done serious workout routines. But I was once one of those weight lifters that did not want to skip any workouts. Physical Fitness has played a major role in my life over the years. Why would I call myself Fitness and Faith if I am not so fit at this time? My studies are going well. As for being fit it is just a vision for now. But this vision has helped me in the past.
I have gained a lot of weight. I can’t eat as much as I could in my teens or early 20s or partly not being active enough. My weight went up to 330 pounds. My Body Mass Index was not much different from that like the Great Kali in wrestling of over seven foot and four hundred and something pounds. My over all weight and BMI has been a concern. Well now I am on a diet. This has not been easy. When your stomach shrinks it hurts sometimes. Once you get used to it at least you don’t have to eat as much. I am eating fruit and vegetables at least once a day. I have cut down on my carbs and the portions of helpings I eat. So far I have lost about 10 pounds. I weigh myself in once a week and also before I start eating that day with light clothes on.
I keep thinking about workout routines but have procrastinated for quite a while on this. I used to be able to get down to the Fitness club. The nearest Bally’s closed down. La Fitness is not near. I know for now I should be still trying to do what I can at home. With whatever plates, bands and whatever else I can do. Maybe posting at CPOA is helpful in this. I need encouragement, tips perhaps whether routines, eating or supplements. I am going to plan on December 1st to lightly start doing a few simple exercises. To get myself warmed up and try to over time fit some new stuff along the way. I can share with whatever progress I am making. I still plan to get to a fitness place but it won’t be for a while yet but whenever I have started out at home. I have made a pretty good start at the Gym.
Now I would like to ask other members if you also have some workout routines going on or if like myself needing to get back again? Whether it is lifting swimming or any Physical fitness activity I would like to hear on this. Do you have any goals you are trying to meet? Are you eating any certain foods for Fitness or muscle tone or mass?
