Update:bench press 2x5 260 close grip bench 2x5 225 incline bench 2x5 215
squat 2x8 275 wt'd crunches 4x15 130 side bends 2x10 75 good mornings 2x10 145
I'm anxious to increase the weight but I'll follow the program!! Arrrgghh! God bless

Update:Bench press 2x5 273.5 Close grip bench 2x5 240 incline bench 2x5 225
squat 2x5 290 wt'd crunches 4x15-20 140 side bends 2x12 75 good mornings 2x10 155
finger's crossed I move up today to 2x3 285 on the bench press,I feel confident I will succeed,with the Lords help! God bless

bench press 2x3 283.5 (easy!) close grip bp 2x3 250 (also easy!) incline bp 2x3 233.5 (YUP EASY!)
squats 2x5 315 wt'd crunches 4x16 140 side bends 2x13 75 good mornings 1x8 165
next is a "light day" for bench press 2x10 198 fast speed tricep work and flyes I can hardly wait for the next heavy day!! With God's help !

Today's work out went ok,I slammed tri's! bench press 2x10 198.5 tricep pushdowns 2x10 140 wt'd dips 2x8 60 db flyes 2x8 50 God bless!

Update:Bench press 1x2 315 1x1 315 close grip bench press 2x2 275 incline bench press 2x2 260
since I maxed on the bench,I've changed my routine. 5x5 for dead lifts/squats/bench press/military press/hammer curls 4x10 for bent rows reverse grip and 1 arm db plus some more stuff too.Hopefully this will kick in some new strength! The old strength continues! Yours in faith God bless

I started a new routine as I said previously and so far it is working great! I've noticed improvement in all lifts! Dead lifts 5x5 245 bench press 5x5 235 military press 5x5 145 bent rows rev grip 4x10 145 squats 5x5 245 hammer curls 5x5 60 incline db press 4x10 75 curls 4x10 75 close grip bench 5x5 225 dips wt'd 4x10 25 leg curls 5x5 95 (work needed) Yours in faith God bless

3 wks on this last program brought my number's up ok! I'm cycling to another routine,to include a rotation of percentages and rep ranges.also to include a rotation of exercises,this is when I will start the zercher squat! I've kind of dreaded and looked forward to this one! God bless!

I'm currently using a powerlifting routine I found on the net. My bench total is the same although my reps for 275x6 is a current best for me. I am working on increasing strength in my squat and the deadlift,which has moved up! To 371lbsx1! I hope to hit 400 by next month if not the month after next.My DL is stronger too but I have'nt tried to hit a new PR yet.Maybe 450? woun't be too much to ask! I thank God for the strength he has given me and all on this great site who give me support. God bless

Update:I'm currently strengthening my posterior chain with box squats and pullthru's.Both have come up,pullthru's are a little awkward at first but you get used to them. The box squat is at 331x5 reps at parallel.I'm feeling alot stronger overall.The best I've felt! At 45 not too bad.I've also gotten better at bodyweight chins, I wasn't able to do 1! Now I'm doing set's of 6! Not great but not bad for a fatman! Bench press is coming along the other day I got 3x3 308 on a low board about an 1 1/2" My goals are to get 350 for bench press,425 for squat,and 450 for the deadlift (sumo) by april 2010.If I make it cool if not that'd be ok too.In the grand scheme of things it doesn't mean much except for myself.I keep it in perspective,if God wishes this for me it'll happen, if he has other plans for me,guess I can't change that can I? God bless
