LESSON 13: SINS OF NOT SOUL WINNING
Soul Winning Scripture Verses:
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” [Proverbs 11:30]
“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” [Matthew 4:19]
If you have been doing your previous assignments, you should have:
1. Shared your testimony of how you got saved with at least three other people.
2. Invited 28 different people to church.
3. Memorize Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:13, John 3:16, Isaiah 53:6, Proverbs 11:30, Matthew 4:19, and Acts 1:8.
4. Placed 161 Gospel tracts in various public and private locations.
5. Personally given 26 Gospel tracts to people that does not fellowship with our congregation.
6. Went two hours of door knocking or making phone calls this week to share the Gospel with complete strangers.
The Sevenfold Sin Of Not Winning Souls
Explain how each of the following is a sin that is committed by not soul winning:
1. The sin of disobedience to Christ (Matthew 28:18-20) –
2. The sin of little love for Christ (John 14:15, 23-24) –
3. The sin of not following Christ (Matthew 4:19) –
4. The sin of not abiding in Christ (John 15:1-8) –
5. The sin of dishonesty in a sacred trust (Matthew 25:14-30) –
6. The sin of the short-sighted fool (Proverbs 11:30) –
7. The sin of bloodguilt – spiritual manslaughter! (Ezekiel 3:17-19)
How Do You Stand Before The Lord:
A Faithful Servant Or A Lazy Bum?
Assignment [Check when complete]:
1. Invite seven different people to church over the next week.
2. Place 21 Gospel tracts anonymously in any location that you can find – that is only 3 per day.
3. Actually spend two hours either knocking doors or calling phone numbers this week to share the Gospel with complete strangers. Don’t worry whether you contact three people or thirty.
4. Review all the Bible verses that you have memorized.
