I still wasn't feeling good, so I just did some stuff at the office. I have one of those CorEvolution hypers for my patients so I use that on occasion for myself.

What do people think? I worked out at the local gym today. So I asked the proprietor why he didn't sell any protein. All they have is a cooler full of various water products. He said he did. They sell this mist spray stuff. So I asked him why not regular protein. His response was that this stuff is really good. People seem to have good results with it. I wasn't about to argue with him, other than to point out that one of his products had only 8mg creatine which is a far cry from the 5-6g+ that we use. Of course I had to admit that I never used the stuff, so I probably really couldn't render an opinion as to its effectiveness. Maybe it does work. But isn't it amazing the stuff that goes on out there?

Tired today. Did lots of honey-do work over the Memorial Day weekend. Then yesterday, our dog got stung and got an allergic reaction to the sting. At 9:30 last night, I drove 45 minutes to the vet to get him taken care of. We got back around 12:30a.m. The vet gave him this pain killer loaded with morphine. Had I known how strong this stuff was, I would never have let them give it to him. He whimpered most of the night and his tongue was hanging out. He couldn't even stand up. I couldn't believe that they gave him something that strong for a sting, especially since he really wasn't acting like he was in a lot of pain. I thoight that they were just giving him a mild tylenol type pain reliever, not a narcotic. So me and my wife were up most of the night with him. I think I went to bed about 3a.m. while my wife stayed up a couple of more hours with him. It's 1:00p.m. here now, and it seems like he's finally getting back to normal, but I'm pretty tired.

The gym built a new building and moved in a couple of weeks ago. However, we are still waiting for the bench and rack. So, we have to bench in the main area. Needless to say, that the intensity and attitude of our training sessions has been rather low. Hence, I decided to kind of "deload" today with the hopes that our powerlifting room will be ready next week and we can start getting back to full tilt training.
