Prayer Request

My 19 year old son left for Afganistan 2 days ago. He is in USMC infantry. I told him to try and recite Psalm 91 daily as I would for him. Please pray for his protection.

Absolutely, brother! I have a special place in my heart for the troops, having had two sons-in-law to serve in Iraq.

WILL DO; I HAVE A SON IN THE ARMY HEADING TO IRAQ THE FIRST OF NEXT YEAR. CAN'T SAY WHAT MONTH. HE'S NOT CLOSE TO THE LORD AND I'M NOT AS CLOSE AS I NEED TO BE. THIS WILL BE HIS SECOND TIME TO IRAQ AND THE FOURTH TIME OVER IN THAT PART OF THE GLOBE.
PLEASE PRAY FOR HIS WIFE AND KIDS TOO. HE HAS A MENTALLY HANDICAPPED SON BY HIS FIRST WIFE AND MAMAW AND I HAVE BEEN MAKING SURE THE PLACE HE LIVES TAKES GOOD CARE OF HIM. IT'S A CONSTANT THING. WE BRING HIM HOME EVERY OTHER WEEK TO STAY FOR THE WEEKEND. WE KEPT HIM FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE HIS DAD AND US DECIDED THAT HE WOULD BE BETTER IN AN INVIRONMENT THAT CARES FOR KIDS WITH HIS PROBLEM. IT'S TOUGH TO TAKE HIM BACK WHEN WE BRING HIM HOME. PRAY FOR MAMAW AND PAPAW TOO. IT'S HARD TO KNOW THAT YOUR SON IS IN SO MUCH DANGER.

My prayers are with you all. My stepson is considering joining the Air National guard. Doesn't seem like our prez is too concerned with our troops; more interested in Chicago getting the 2016 olympics. Nice priorities.
